CREDIT CARDS
       Major credit cards are accepted at most restaurants and shops.

CLIMATE AND DRESS
       In late September the weather in Marmaris is very pleasant and warm. It is suitable for swimming and outdoor activites.
       The day time temperature ranges between 23-280 C and sea water 22-240 C. Summerwear and swimsuits are recommended.

VOLTAGE
       The voltage in Turkey is 220 V,50hz.

PASSPORTS & VISAS
       Visas are not required by the citizens of the following countries:
       Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan,Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Beliza, Bolivia, Canada, Chili, Croatia, Denmark, Djibouti, Ecuador, Fili, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Kazakhistan, Kirgiz, Malaysia, Mauritius, Monaco, Morocco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Quatar, Republic of Northern Cyprus, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovania, Spain, St.Lucia, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates and Vatican City.
       All other nationals should  apply to their nearest Turkish Consulate or Embassy or get their visas at the airport upon arrival in Turkey.

BANKING
       The unit of currency is the Turkish Lira. Convertible foreign currency and traveller’s cheques may be changed at banks during normal banking hours; at hotels; at airports and in exchange offices. Exchange rates are set daily by the Central Bank.
